And no, Britain is not "basking" in sweltering sunshine as the BBC would have you believe, the only people who "bask" in this weather are the TV weather crews who get to hide away in their nice air-conditioned offices after they've done their five minute stint on the breakfast news. :P I so nearly went home from work early today, the heat out on the wards all but killed me. And I only have to do an hour or two a day up there! Unlike the nurses, who have to work there ALL day (including lifting patients around, cleaning up unmentionables, giving meds, etc *ick*), and the patients who are "living" there. Eghdf;lkjdfiu. :P
Still no thunder. :(
