  Sadly, this is no earlier than my normal leaving time. Stupid NHSDirect, giving us all millions of crap questions so we can't go home early like everyone else in the department. :'( (Example: "I'm 16, I'm 18 weeks pregnant, and I've been round my friends house and s/he has a broken boiler, so I may have been exposed to carbon monoxide for 5-10 minutes, will this have harmed my baby??!" ¬_¬ No. But! You should have been taking folic acid. How much do we have to tell people this before they do it? *headdesk*)

It's been an odd Christmas thus far. :\ Aside from the boiler breaking down, I almost ended up spending Xmas day on my own, because I'm working on Boxing Day (yay on-call ¬_¬ ) and I don't drive, so transport was an issue getting to/from relatives, but I'm going to my parents now. (This morning, in fact. In about an hour. So I better get a shift on!) I WAS going to be all uber-traditional and have roast goose, but the goose is back in the deep-freeze now until after Christmas. It'll be the traditional giant ostric- uh, turkey instead. :D

Julian, yours arrived yesterday and yes, the penguin IS sickeningly cute. ;) And the picture inside is not cliche, it is all awesomesauce, and I always like the way you draw gryphons. :D (Once I get a new monitor ¬_¬) I might just have to scan it. ;)

Luke, yours arrived yesterday also, eek. *Twilight Zone music* I don't know if you planned it or anything, but it was well-accidentally-planned anyway. ;) (Hope you get over the dry patch soon, aww. No more stress! Still, impressed you remembered their names. ;) )

Now! I must zoom off and finish getting dressed, otherwise Mum's going to get here and I'll still be faffing. I have more art for later ("You know, I think humans would consider it bad luck for a snow angel to have HORNS...") but it's not all inked.
