Twitter

Interesting.

I just noticed I have a selection of people I am apparently "following" on Twitter... that I not only didn't actually ADD, but would NOT have added in the first place because I have zero interest in the stuff they're peddling. Half of them are writing in an alphabet I can't even READ! (Not to mention, I hardly use Twitter at the moment, and I know who I've added.)

Ages ago, there was apparently an exploit that let spammers add themselves to your lists without your knowledge. I thought Twitter had fixed it, but I guess maybe not? :(

Or is this some new Twitter marketing strategy - instead of paying for adverts, you pay to have your username added to people's "friends pages" so they see your tweetspam?
