Oh course, since I don't call myself a "furry", you don't call yourself a "furry", and your target auidence isn't exactly meant to be "furry," either, one has to wonder who/what exactly that comment was aimed at.

(That, and if we're talking writing works versus visual works, the ratio of money spent in the "fandom" tends to be different.)

Besides, you'd probably take a hit in shipping, being overseas and all. And it is a price per book...

Well, it was mostly a case of "I have noticed in my time on artists_beware..." and it was simply a "common ground" to reference. Plus, of course, I was going by the idea that a "certain fandom" may be the only people interested, much as it pains me. :( I mean, I adore "speculative biology" - I have books like "the wildlife of Star Wars" and "After Man" - but I don't know how big a field that is and if anyone else would be interested. :P
