The Avalanches
OMG SHE'S POSTING STUFF OFF UTOOB:
...But I'll still put it under a cut because you wouldn't believe the number of times YouTube embedded on peoples' journals on my friendslist makes LJ crap out on my computer
I have 2 THINGS to say about this vid:
1. I wish they'd hurry up and bring the track that's playing in the background out to buy, already. I'VE BEEN WAITING SINCE OCTOBER. (Although this is a different advert to the first one I watched and went OMG AVALANCHES *flail* about, and the track is sliiiiightly different, I think. *ponders*)
2. Why does "perfection requires a touch of madness" strike me as just SO APPROPRIATE for so many of the characters I write with? ;)
I love the Avalanches. *plays the ad again*
Edit: Excuse me, 7digital.com, Portishead is NOTHING like the Avalanches.
Edit2: Crap, when did it get to be 1am? *dies*

This is just making me laugh, but in a way I love it too. "Ever fallen in Love"... reworked to the rhythm of the bossa nova
...poor Whitesides. Actually, not so much of the "poor", I think he'd enjoy it.
...and then of course this one follows on after it. (Might not want to listen if you have sensitive little ears, we have the f-bomb going off all over.)
Edit4: Ooh, Paypal has gone all in French for the Nouvelle Vague website (liek, duh, they're French, that'd be why). *tries to remember enough of what she learned in school - omg liek more than 10 years ago - to be able to click the right buttons*
