That simplified re-draw of the previous image I uploaded. I think it was the messiness of the previous image that annoyed me - that and I got disheartened by it when the mask messed up the paper on her wings. Anyway. I may use this little drawing as a "business card" or something.

Sad because she has no significant other. Everyone else is paired off and happy, and she's just... in limbo. Unable to find anyone willing to make the same commitment for her. (Well, except Ral, but then he doesn't count, since he has ulterior motives.)

I'm not sure WHY she's so grouchy. Maybe it's because most other synthetic organisms seem to have been created JUST for sex and entertainment. (As in, I'm expressing annoyance that 99% of "intelligent machines" out there are just smart sex-dolls. And I don't mean just in furry, I mean EVERYWHERE. Grr.)

I disagree with the third picture because I honestly haven't really found any "smart sex doll" porn, especially in the fandom. It seems that the majority of synthetic beings violently revolt against their creators. Honestly, I'd be fine if only 30% of synthetic creatures were made for entertainment... as far as I've seen lately, it's more like 0.02%.

Heh, you obviously don't look in the same places as I do. ;) Not sure about the how and why, all I can say for sure is that I noticed a lot of sex, and I haven't really seen much at all in the way of "robots rebel and take over the world" stuff, lately - although with the amount of "OMG sex bot"-type pornings I couldn't blame them. ;) Although at the same time I really don't go out LOOKING for it - I just seem to run smack into it. Hm. :\

Well, you're going to have to point me in the directions of entertainment synthetics, because when I'm on Tapestries or most forums or checking out the plot to most books, movies, and videogames with artificial intelligence in them, it's all about synthetics revolting against their purpose. Violently, too, killing everyone and everything in their way, for apparently no other reason than to "live", just because they feel they are irrefutably and logically the next step in evolution or something. Most AI stories I'm used to are all about the cold cruel logic and how much they just want to dominate everything and how they cannot be reasoned with. Almost everything I've read or seen is extremely robophobic, and THAT is what pisses me off!

Eh, I don't know how it happens, I just know it does, so eh. *shrugs* I guess it's because I'm not looking? If I see anything different, I'll point you at it.

Why don't you point me in the direction of the endless stories of entertainment synths, then? I'd be happy to read a few; maybe it would inspire me to write a bit more philosophical things based on such concepts.

Well, if I see any more I'll let you know - I can't say the ones I've seen lately made much impact on me past "oh jeeze, not another one... *close tab*"

Mind you, it wasn't THAT big a deal - it was more an "I'm going to draw THIS" than anything particularly to do with MY actual feelings. ;)

Used for war, eh? Yup, sounds about right as far as everything I've seen regarding violent synths that just want to destroy everything. :p

Hrm, I always assumed Aegis' creatures were the "biological" type of synthetic - he has a cannon, after all. But hrm.

I just said "synths", I didn't say if they were mechanical or not. Still, just perpetuates the stereotype, I think. *shrug* I won't judge it until I see it, though. ^^;

I have more than one type of artificial creation in my stories. Genji's kind of unique in his regard, as most of his other models were, uh... 'compromised' during his ...'liberation' (i.e. They got blown up).

My main ones are currently dubbed "Constructs". For lack of a better term. I'll flesh out details soon enough, I want it all in the same spot (i.e. my journal, for the moment). And since I've taken writing panels while I've been away, it shouldn't take too long..

a.i as far as i know seems to alwais be iuntent on destroyin the world yeah but i read and watched movies where their sex dolls and stuff veri occasinally but normallys its quiet brief.
in matrix a.is all like people as batterys so y they revolt is better explained than just sayin they wanted freedom or whatever.

now a.i's revoltin and then keepin humans as sex dolls for themselves. that would be intrestin. hmm, ponderss.....

Well, as to WHAt she does, I'm not overly sure. ;) Keeps it clean and tidy, and all that, catalogues what she finds, and so on :)
