Of course there's also the fact Starscream would likely be in a position to know if the Decepticons were actually responsible for the fuel raid on the hospital. Hardline looses major points for insensitivity here, BTW. I mean come-on, your wife is blaming herself and all you can do is talk about vengence instead of, I don't know - actually comforting her?! *wants to thwack some sense into Young!Hardline*
In regards to the third story, to be honest I would almost perfer another CSI-type story, especially since SBM was so much fun to read. Besides, there's always the Decepticons to contend with and to be honest Starscream's ambitions to usurp Megatron is such an integral part of his character that I can't see him giving it up easily (or quietly). Not to mention I don't think Megatron is going to let them leave quietly no matter what the circumstances.
