Once again you won't see me about much for the next few days, until this nassssty heat goes away again and I don't have to worry about my PC melting.
Why DO people always go "isn't it LOVELY weather?" No it's NOT lovely weather, it's fecking HORRIBLE weather, it's HOT and the sun is BLINDING and BURNY and my room is like an OVEN and I can't escape it short of going to sleep in the KITCHEN with the BILLYWITCHES. (On the latter point, they've gone now and are replaced by moths, but still.) And even my air cooler struggles. And I can't use my PC because it overheats and ROARS in the corner. (Brings up another point which I've been pondering since one of Danji's comments a few days ago - my computer just sits there, in the shade, AND it has a fan in it, and it has trouble keeping cool. How would Synth keep cool? Let's face it, there's a lot of advanced processing going on, and moving about, and they'd probably have to operate in full sun and heat and stuff, so short of having refrigeration tanks... :P )
GO AWAY SUN. *sob*

even my air cooler struggles
Ouch. You have my deepest sympathy.
How would Synth keep cool?
Highly efficient coolant/refrigerant?

Date: 3 Jul 2006 07:35 pm (UTC)The air cooler's blowing over ice water now so it's not as bad as it could be. ;) It's still a horrible little flat though. I want a garden. :(
