So, here's the question: Are you "kiling" Eri because it relates to the plot, because you don't need the character anymore, because her "death" is a vital point in the development of another character (Iios, most likely), because you want to (or already do) know how your audience will react, or because you want to see if you can? I.e, if you're just "killing" her off for the sake of having her die, that's probably a bad reason...
This is speaking as someone who intends to kill off half of his own characters at some point. But that may not be relevant.
