Belated crosspost from my devFART journal:

Considering trying to produce a book about my creatures and places, a la those "Wildlife of Star Wars" type books, partly because a) I like designing creatures and places and goodness knows I've got enough of them, b) I'm bored and it's the sort of thing a fit of boredom triggers and c) I can.

Obviously I'd have to self-publish (for now, anyway, and probably "for then" as well, meh), it'd probably take FOREVER, and I have no idea if ANYONE would buy it, but anyway. Thought I'd throw the idea into the ring anyway.

Good, bad, what?

Edit: If you've not seen the "Wildlife of Star Wars" book in question, there's an Amazon "look inside" page here (it should work, a friend on a different PC tested it last night):
Look inside "Wildlife of Star Wars"
(Takes a while to load if you're on dialup.)
Essentially, I was going to try and aim for the whole "naturalists notebook" type thing, but not just with wildlife but with the people too. As in, a preliminary chapter about the universe, then a section on each planet (as in, a section on Ondra the world, the Ondrai themselves, the basics of the ecosystem, then the flora and the fauna (eg Mophia, Podicea, etc), and then the transients and travellers etc. I mean, lets face it, I have as much fun designing my sprawling galaxy as I do writing fiction going on in it, so... it might be fun, and it could be a companion to it. Even if nobody wants to buy it. *pouty sadface* ( ;) )
