I have realised why it is that I'm actually getting close to finishing "Screaming Blue Murder":

Edit: NB - at the time, I wasn't actually referring to "Screaming Blue", that story came along a bit later. I think I started it in April?

In other news, I'm kinda kinda getting back in the NaNoWriMo mood, as it was this time last year I decided to NaNo' it for the first time - OMG 2 stories finished in the space of a year, am I getting ill?

THUS! I'm doing a sneaky little bit more NaNo arting to get me back in the frame of mind, around SMB and the hypothetical sequel.

I had a(nother) really odd dream, last night, as well. :\ (Cue: "...she says that like it's UNUSUAL." My dreams are ALWAYS odd. But anyway!) I don't know what it is about SBM but I KEEP dreaming about it, and it usually involves me either getting in a huge in-depth discussion about the science of it with one of my reviewers, via the ff.net review panel (because OMG people review it in real life, too. *gleeful*) orrrr (like last night) fanart.

That was what I dreamed about last night. :\ Someone had done me some art of my characters, it was... we-ell, sorta weird. I mean, yes, "SBM" is probably a bad shorthand because my brain always mis-interprets it as "S&M" (which is bad, baaaad karma, but anyway), but it was as if someone else had had the same idea. "Fan"art was a slightly tenuous link. Anyway. It had been done in prisonsuit-rabbitman*'s style, and the ultra-cuteness of it just made it all the stranger. Pulsar, and... Siphon. It was weirdly sexual, and kinda abusive (and... sorta foreshadowing. ¬_¬ Not that I'm one to give out spoilers, oh noes!) O_o' My subconscious is scaring me.

Now why oh WHY do I always have dreams like this? I've had a very similar very strange dream involving my character Aileena "getting vored" (drawn for me by a furry fan of my stories) before. Is my subconscious trying to tell me something? Blagh. *tonguepoke*

* = seriously, he has the cutest style ever. And he seems to do LOADS of requests, but eh, I'm way too shy to ask. :P
Perhaps that's why I'm always dreaming about that sort of thing, because I always ALWAYS get too shy to ask people, like some of the artists I've watched on ElJay, when they CLEARLY say they're doing the sketch meme and the first five people to say "me, me! ME ME!" get a free sketch. I just feel like I'm being greedy. ¬_¬'
ARGH I'm such a ninny.

Edit2: I think I've been listening to too much TaTu, because all of a sudden Pulsar has got herself a Russian accent. :P

Oh, the Pulsar/Skywarp is pretty clear in the story, it's the S&M that wouldn't quite fit with it in my brain. ... Skywarp as daddy? Now that's a disaster waiting to happen. ;)
