...I have told my webhost server to make me a subdomain.

Now I need to see if it works. *crosses fingers* What a PAIN in the BACKSIDE this all is. :P Why can't they make it easy? Like, "HAY server make me a subdomain!" "...'Kay!"

Goodness knows what it is. :( I ftp through my browser (as my ftp program just gives me "550" errors), and do other sort of maintenance via the control panel. All my web knowhow is self taught and mostly jerry-rigged. :P

I'll have to look into Cpanel, though.

Well, I have a webhost for the domain (I'm with EasySpace) and a control panel where I can change passwords and that sort of thing, but their FAQ for setting up subdomains wasn't the best in the world to start with as it looked out of date. I mean, "Domain pointing and locking" - what? :P I'm self taught and have NO clue about that sort of thing outside of what I read on FAQs.

Mind you, "dauntless.windchaser.co.uk" now says "Your domain is registered and parked for you" so I'm hoping that means it's worked... I think I just don't like having an immediate effect so I can see if it worked right.
