OMG OMG NEW TOY

...preciousss...

Edit: Seriously considering doing some of those "Artist Trading Card" things. I've seen people talk about them in ElJay and such, and while I was out today I heard a lady talking about them in one of the shops I went to, soo... *tempted* I mean, I'm not a scrapbooker by a long shot, but I love the mixed-media idea, and I've always loved to "snip and clip" (as my parents used to call it. :P) soo... yays!

Oh, and the house search is still going on... plenty of nice places on there, but damn they go quickly. And just HOW MUCH are solicitors these days?! You think you got a lot to save for to go to a Conference, buying a house is a whole new calibre of saving!

Edit2: THEY MAKE IVY LEAF HOLE PUNCHES *YESSS*

Sorry, I was trying to be silly refering to those things as coloring devices that are done in the physical world as opposed to digital coloring that I was discussing recently in my journal. :p

Oh, fair enough. Maybe "traditional media" would have been better. ;) Except it's not that traditional either... *headscratch* ANYWAY! Faux-dichroic-glass pendants here I come! *MMMMM PRETTIES*

You think too much and make everything I say far more complicated than it has to be. :p

So... custom-moldable plastics that are easily shapable when warm.

Sounds perfect for anything that doesn't need to be exposed to direct sunlight or anything above room temperature... (And I quote: "NOTE: Pieces made with Friendly Plastic® will soften or melt at 100º F when exposed to direct sunlight or similar heat sources for long period of time.")

So what were you planning on making from these? Or were you just pondering the idea and possibilities thereof?

I'm going to make pretties. :) Namely, pendants and central pieces, for jewellery and stuff. And as they go SOFT when they go warm, not MELTY, per-se, I'm going to varnish them with some kind of hard laquer, to support them. So hurrah!

I have a few pieces to play with, so we'll see what happens. :)
