Urrrphrrrh. Moving house really takes it out of you, you know? *bluuuh* I'm living in boxes and it's really not a fun situation to be in. At least the people I'm buying from have put in an offer on their place - I was dreading that I'd pop in to the estate agent on friday and they'd say "well actually they're still looking..." No idea of a completion date, but at least I have my deposit together, mortgage sorted, solicitor instructed, valuation done and crap.

I have a little (very overdue) piece of art I'm going to upload tomorrow (and sincerest apologies go to who I owe it to, who probably doesn't read my ElJay but anyway), and I'm still beetling away at my VeryBadFanfic™ (and trying very hard to keep "Erica Jackson" from turning into an all-out Mary Sue - to be honest she's really really boring, but eh, whatever.)

So yeah, I do still exist, on some metaphysical plane... just not really 100% on the physical one just yet.

Edit: According to this, I should be safe. And this - "For example, a lightsaber in a Lord of the Rings story" - made me snicker.
