Auraga and a "plant spirit". Supposed to look a little Egypt-y, but meh. This one is getting transferred to papyrus (now I've fixed the wony anatomy a bit...), although if I can't get it to work I'll digitally transfer it later.

And another boring portrait. But eh. This is either a revision of the previous, or to go in the "magazine" at the end. And drawing Kiravai noses from that angle is a PAIN.


Yannis. WOO. He's missing a pair of arms because I'm not sure where to put them yet, and his face is lopsided, and his hair is a real barnet that I need to fix, :P but woohoo, huuuuman. (kinda)

Whee. All need editing and inking and colouring and stuff, and I probably won't upload ALL of it, because eh, I want to keep a few as a surprise to put in my book, but pfft. Your normal schedule may now resume.

I'm not very fast, those are a few days' worth of effort. ¬_¬

Oh yeah, most of the time, I have to struggle with a few sketches too. DX
Have you ever tried to use markers and coloured pencils together? I discovered it for myself when I had a few markers and couldn't be arsed to do the shadows with a darker colour. The results are actually awesome.

Yeah, I usually use a combination of markers and pencils - although I haven't since I moved, mostly because I haven't unpacked the pencils yet, and I have enough colours of marker to try and do shadows with them. ;) But now I have a study taking shape (at last, although MFI still haven't delivered all of it) I have somewhere to unpack things INTO, so I can find them at last...
