Testy things
Thursday, 28 April 2005 10:28 pmJust for the sheer, unadulterated hell of it, I swiped this off Em. I wanted to see how it'd grade my lovely Suffolk English accent. ;)
Heh. :) No, it doesn't add up to 100%, because I skipped over some questions. "13. What is the four wheeled contraption you push around your groceries in? a) Buggy b)Carriage c)Shopping / grocery cart". I call it a trolley. :P *skips* "14. You work out in... a) Tennis shoes b) Sneakers". Nope, trainers. *skips*
I think I confused it. *nodsnods*
Although this one amused me - "11. If it's raining while the sun is shining, you call it: a) The Devil is Beating His Wife b) A sunshower c)You have no term for it" - I call it a fox's wedding. ;) (Or just plain "oh damn, it's raining again, mind you the sun's out so it'll stop soon"). I forget where it stems from - one of them old English myths, like Black Shuck and so on. (I heard they use it in the orient, too).
The plants are still trying to take over my room. In addition to my cornflowers, I now have a further three species making their break for freedom. I think I'm going to have to put a few up for adoption sometime... post on the noticeboard at work, or something. :P Typical. Inspires me for a pic, though.
ARGH, I'm procrastinating again to avoid polishing up my audit report. *slaps self* BACK TO WORK
