Pigeons

Just had a pigeon* fly into the kitchen window; dopey bird. I was getting the milk out of the fridge when I heard this almighty BONG from behind me (and promptly dropped the milk. Glad it was in a plastic bottle). I thought a kid had thrown something at the window or kicked a football at it or something, but when I went to look there was a smear of poo and a pigeon-shape in dust on the window. No stunned pigeon on the grass outside, so I'm supposing the dappy animal saw a reflection of the trees in the glass and tried to land on it. :P My parents have had dozens of little birds (and a sparrowhawk) fly into their windows at home, which they've then had to rescue, so I suppose it could have been worse.
