I've never used Twitter before, what is it?

Kinda like a LiveJournal that workes on the principle of very, very short updates, I think (140 characters including spaces if you update from the web).

www.twitter.com (http://www.twitter.com)
And Loudtwitter (http://www.loudtwitter.com) updates them to your LiveJournal :)

Although I'm going to try something different tomorrow because I'm not sure I like having my ElJay password on there. I might do "update by email". *ponders*
