The boiler saga continueth.

Electrician's here to fix my boiler, yay.

I almost, almost worried there was a problem - I spoke to his boss last night and he said he'd text me if they'd not managed to get the part, and JUST as I was getting out of the taxi I checked my mobile and there was a text on it - erp! I was thinking "aw heck it's the electrician, he's not been able to get the part after all"... But luckily it was just the taxi firm, telling me who my driver was. :P Disaster averted at the moment. *phew* Now I just have to keep my fingers crossed that they managed to get the right part!

The taxi company text you to let you know who's driving you around? That's... odd.

Well, admittedly they text me what the taxi looks like, not the driver - "your car will be outside in 2 mins, it is a black Vectra whatever registration number blabla" (and I usually get the text AFTER I get into the taxi, but whatever).

Still peculiar, I know. :\ The first time they did it, waaaay back on an on-call last year, I was all "...what?", but since then I noticed if I phone them by mobile they then text me with a description of the car to look out for.
