Aww, Sadlerity is sad. *pets*

Edit: NB those are her cheek-flashes, not OMG BIG ANIME TEARSSS

Tiny woooorlds And the tiny world! It's not actually that tiny, it's just a tiny pic. :) The top half is the "civilised", colonised, terraformed half, the bottom half is still controlled by the native tribes. The desert keeps them separated; at least, the "civilised" side can cross it, but don't want to, the natives want to, but (generally) can't. :P
Wheee.

Aww poor Celerity, did TC reject her advances? ;)

So your planet basically has one super-contient plus ice caps?

Heeh, no. ;) If THAT had happened it'd have been more than a litle bit of Lara-poutyface, there'd have been major baww'ing. ¬_¬

At the moment, yeah, the working doodle has a supercontinent and icecaps. I have NO IDEA what that'd do to the weather patterns or if it's even possible; do they think Pangea (or whatever they call it) had icecaps? I'll have to look it up. They're mostly just reminders. ;)

I was curious and did a little bit of reading. Apparently Pangea isn't the only supercontinent, just the most recent one. But fossil evidence is harder to find on the older ones because they're so much older and with the way surface crust gets recycled most of it's gone.

The theory with supercontinents is that they tend to have colder, drier, more continental-like climates. Plus the sea-levels are lower and possibly less oxygenated (there's less mixing going on).
