ARTSU... again
Wednesday, 21 September 2005 11:01 pmWhee, art.

Six colours (two brown, one blue, one black, ochre and mid-brown, two of them being watercolour pencils), waterbrush (like a brush preloaded with water) and three hours time after work, watching divvids. The image itself isn't so grey, but I had to adjust the gain to bring the colours out correctly - but I like the overcast look the grey gives it, anyway.
Mind you, I prefer the 20 minute at-work biro chickenscratch I produced as a forerunner. There's just something about the anatomy that I find less bothersome, even if her neck DOES look broken.
Edit: WHEE.
Avian flu. Don't look at me like that. :P
'Skelna' - sort of a "revision" of the old species, so they're actually MINE to use. :P Tried to take more inspiration off real live animals, so... elephant and squid and such. Yes, the pupils ARE half-moons (well, kind of). Skates and rays and sharks have half-moon pupils. Not sure if females will have the trunk/feelers, since they're intended to be physically different (think: queen ant vs. worker ant) but we'll see what happens the longer I work with the doodle.
Anyway, I go bed now. Yej!
