Strangest dream ever. :P I rarely remember my dreams - that is, I know I HAVE dreamed, but I can't remember WHAT happened to save my life. Last night I remember a fair bit from it - I was helping an artist clear up all their old work which was all kept in a load of chests of drawers in a corridor outside a restaurant or something. I have the impression the place was also under siege by the police for some reason, but I forget why. Anyway. I remember that later on the dream someone sent me fan art of one of my characters - not the strange bit, it was rather WHAT they'd drawn, which was some strange sexual sort of piece like you'd see on VCL Horrors. :P Reminded me a little of the film "Anaconda" actually - it was a kind of "vore" picture, with some small leering german-shepherd sort of dog posing for the camera (my brain recalls it was one of the "OMG mischevious LOLZ!" characters which are actually just annoying and make you want to stamp on their heads) with an "inflatable stomach" (which looked more like black tar), which had swallowed one of my characters (I have the vaguest idea it was Lena) and you could see every small detail of her through the wall of the stomach (back arched, mouth open, although whether it was in sheer terror or "liek at the point of sexual climax omg omg!" escapes me now). (It still creeps me out a little, thinking about it now, for that matter.) Point being, mostly, I think, that why DO "artists" seem to draw other people's characters doing something THEY would get off to, under the impression the recipient of the "fanart" will be grateful and this it IS the ULTIMATE SEX, liek-omg? What's the point to that sort of fanart - where the character belonging to the person you're drawing for is not the focal point (ie the dog-thing was, in my dream) or else they're doing something that the author would never in a million years have had them do? It'd be like drawing the average Kiravai in some sort of ridiculously contrived and very painful BDSM scene. :P

Okay, I'm done. Whee.

On other lines, I have a new story in progress - I've flip-flopped my "normal" universe a bit, so this is a Mirror-Universe one, where Ivy is just a plain-old normal organic female, but there's more "Synths". Reminds me on a subconscious level a bit of the "I, Robot" universe. Anyway. May not get very far with it, but we'll see what happens. Now I got to hang up my washing then go sleep. *xnores*

...Certainly trumps any dream I've had, in terms of strangeness, at least. Most I've had was partial clairvoyance. I'm usually the same way, though it slightly depends on content. I find when I have an active role, I tend to remember a little more.

I, for one, would rather not delve into the minds of such people, if I can help it. I'm strange enough as it is, without knowing such traits.

One of these days, I will have to see these Dauntless writings of yours. Aside from the ones you keep posting on LJ, of course, as I've probably seen some of those.
