Urrrrhhhh... armhurts. BUT HEY, I got it now. No flu for me. And hopefull no passing it on to all the old peoples on my ward.

I can't believe how unclumsy I've been all day (don't jinx it, girl), mind. Usually, when I get some sort of jab, my arm turns into a collision-magnet; when I had my last Hepatitis jab (as in, so I don't catch it, not because I have it) I was ALWAYS walking into goddamn doorframes with that arm. It gave me great hurtage *snif*. But today I've managed to avoid staggering blindly into all and sundry doorways, so YEJ!

In other news, I've resumed work on the Great Devourer for the Beasts of Yore portfolio, and there's now some colour on it (the image here is a little blurry, as I re-compressed a jpg of a photo, so it went a bit "watermarked". In real life it's a lot crisper). I have to say, hand on heart, that I think this is in the running for the best piece of artwork I have EVER done, which pleases me. :) Especially pleasing as I'm not just doing it for me, too. (Hoorj!)

Also on the way to having another chapter of Automata up, but it may be the end of the weekend before I get it OL as I'm going home to see mes parents for a couple of days. Whee! (And he STILL doesn't have a freaking name, liek ARGH. I want something that'll suit him, not just a random clutter of letters like I usually go for. Grr.)

I've had family members with the flu. It doesn't look like fun. So being immune is what counts. I'm quite proud to say I haven't walked into a doorframe for a long time (used to be a constant problem, but that's another story). Strange how that didn't show up in my DA messages. I'll comment on it when I can think of one.

A name, you say. Ivy's it's owner, so technically, she's naming it. In a sense, anyway. Considering how she's sympathetic towards them, either she'd give it something symbolic, something respectful, or just a nickname based off of some trait or pre-existing name (Syn, possibly). Depending how far along into the plot you are, you can also aim for something Ironic.

Of course, none of this actually gives you a name to work with. But hopefully, it will help.

At the moment, her idea is that HE choose a name for HIMSELF. But that doesn't help me name him either, so... go figure. I'll probably go with my standard and pick an appropriate colour. ;) Although "Taupe" is kinda close, but I don't think I'll EVER use that word in sensible conversation (WTF IS taupe, anyway? A fancy way of sexing-up "beige"?)
