keaaluIdeas on colour for one of my little characters.
Basic background: Lii was Captain of an Imperium Destroyer until he fell foul of his Dominae, Jiirai, who relieved him of both his post and one ear; he originally had a bit of a fling with Sl'askia's Asri until the storyline fizzled out and we gave up on it, so I recycled him and now he's with Azure/Bha'Zhei. (He's the only one who calls her "Zhei" as it sounds similar to "chei", meaning (essentially) "beloved" and from which comes m'chi, "beloved of mine". Everyone else calls her Azure or Aze.)
His colours are intentionally blotchy, as I wanted him to look more "scarred" than "spotty", and I think it looks vaguely like that. The marker work is the base-colour, and an idea of where the colours should go, but is a lot lighter than he's actually supposed to be. He's meant to be a rich dark copper-black (sort of black-coffee-colour).
