keaaluEh, you clever people - IRC + Trillian? How? *puzzled* I only know ChatZilla, and then only very veeeerry barely.
Edit: And because I'm BORED, I'm wondering if I sould put some sort of RP section onto my little forum - well, if anyone would USE it of course. ;) It'd fall more under "extended storytelling" than the high-speed RP of IRC/IM, I guess, but hey, it's MY FORUM and I CAN IF I WANT. ;)
Edit2: too... much... screeeen... my... brain...hurtssss... maybe I should stop trying to find things to do, and go to bed. Reminds me of Uni holidays, actually, when I was the only one still in Bath - get high on tea and chocolate and ProPlus, and sit all quivery and adrenaline'd, and then sit and bitch that I was bored and lonesome and there was no-one around to talk to. :P I know, I should go to bed, but my brain don't wanna. Eh, perhaps I AM some kind of "reincarnated Synth", because MY brain doesn't stop for breath either.

Date: 16 Jan 2006 07:25 am (UTC)Go to your Connection screen. Click "Add New Connection" then "IRC." Give your server a name to go by in the first box. Put the server's address in the second, and your nick in the third. Put a Username and Info in the fourth and fifth boxes. Once there, click "Connect." Once connected, click the IRC button and click on "Show Status Window." Once in there, just type "/join #room" where room is whatever the room name is. That should be it.
After the first initial time, you should just be able to go on the Connection screen and hit Connect, then go to the status screen and join your room.
