Tuesday, 20 June 2006 11:50 pmWhere eagles (and other birds) dare? - working doodle. Yay! (Sliiightly risque, but meh. It's probably the strongest I'll ever draw, as (please bear with the unintentional pun) I don't seem to have a pornographic bone in my body. Not finished yet, but I want to go to sleeeeeep *flops on keyboard* dgfuhren e ,vz hn0n87nl..mn
What what? Oh yes. Fiction. Smoosh - Iios and Eri, naturlich. Aegis might not want to look.
Edit: Changed my mind, there's not enough there to post. Maybe later. Except this bit:

“Oh, I nearly forgot,” he observed, rousing her from her slumber.
“…what…?” she mumbled, not lifting her head, knowing full well he hadn’t ‘almost forgotten’ at all and it’d be something silly and inconsequential, something he’d been waiting all this time to ask as he knew her resistance was at its lowest ebb.
“I got you something.”
“…something?” Well, that was different – not the ‘oh by the way I just lifted the local sha’ev’s wallet again you don’t mind do you dear?’ that she’d been half expecting. She lifted her head, feeling drowsy and sluggish, and for a moment her eyes wouldn’t focus on the chip of light in front of her nose. “-what’s…?”
He bopped the chip of light gently against the pad of her nose, and she noticed it was cold and hard.
“Stop wiggling it about,” she instructed, ignoring his snicker at the potential badthoughts, and the chip came to a standstill. It took two sleepy grabs to close her fingers on it, and when she finally did she found it was a lot more insubstantial than she’d been expecting – cool against the hairless skin of the underside of her hand, and very fine, a loop of smooth metal-
Her eyes brought the world suddenly into focus and she sat up. A ring glittered in the palm of her hand.
He was smiling innocuously, as if he’d merely brought her a cup of tea.
She pointed at it with her other hand, her lips parted in an oh of shock. “What’s… what’s this?!”
“Don’t you like it?”
“Well of course I… Kye, it’s-… are you asking me-”
The reason he’d been paying so much attention to her feet lately suddenly became abundantly clear – she’d assumed it was just something he’d heard about and was experimenting with, but she realised belatedly that he’d been taking measurements. Tape measure? Pfft.
("Kye" is a affectionate diminutive derived from "Malachite"; only Eri uses it. There's not a lot you can turn "Iios" into, after all.)

Okay, I'm done now, I go sleep.
