On a related note, why is it only ever the NIMBYs that make the great sprawling arguments against wind and water power and beat home how "good" coal-powered generators are?
Well . . . that's a GOOD sign. It means that most other folks support wind power. The only ones who are truly dedicated to finding some reason why it is bad are the ones who will be living nearby and don't like the way it looks.
It's human nature: everyone wants electricity, and everyone wants someone else to have to put up with the mining, drilling, waste, air pollution, water pollution, and global warming pollution that are created by its production.
