Conclusion: "Cube 2" was just as crapped-up as "Cube". Neither had any plot worth speaking of, and it was a very disappointing ending. :( For what it was worth, I think I vaguely preferred "Cube 2" as those white cuboid rooms (and lack of random messy deaths) were stylistically more appealing, but myeh. :(

Although maybe I could use the maze of endless rooms as a plot device somewhere along the way... ;)

I've thought about letting that weird movie inspire some creativity of my own, too. If not in my main character story, perhaps it would work in Dumao. ;)

Cube was interesting, Cube 2 was only interesting because it was a tesseract, but no real 'puzzle' like in Cube. And the plot was copied, even down to the character's behaviors.

I haven't watched Cube Zero yet, but it's a prequel..and probably more of the same. They should have stopped with one.

"Cube Zero" was weird - all the participants had been "programmed" with amnesia so they didn't know who they were, or why they were there, and you actually saw some of the controllers at work (although you never actually knew WHO was in ultimate control). But even THAT was very disappointing, because even if you DID find your way out of the maze they'd kill you. :P Which I think was what was the most disappointing about all three films - you KNEW that everyone was going to die at the end, so... why bother watching them kill each other in the process?

A chance to point out a grammer mistake in your journal? Oh, this should be fun.....

*laughs evily*

Eh, don't think I'll need a myriad of random deaths rooms at any point, though.

Fft, what is this thing, "grammar"? :P If people can use "then" and "than" interchangeably, why should I be too worried about my grammar, late at night? ;)
