New colours?

Well, maybe not so much "new" as "edited a little". Some people may recall that Keaalu's very first colours made her look like a monochrome red fox - so now she's almost gone full circle and back to the beginning again. *tonguepoke* The grey on the hindquarters, certainly. I like the Beylaev quality to it, too, so there's obviously some "star" gene in there (the one that makes the white patches) - and of course, star gene + cross gene = "Starcrossed", which is Vullish for "a bit dappy". Muahaha!



I just wish the picture was of a live animal. :(

Edit: I'm also considering revising some of Ren's looks. *le sigh* I hadn't realised, when I first drew him waay back in 2001 or whenever it was, just HOW much of a cliche the little eye-scar was going to turn out. I've counted a hundred OMG-ANGST!/OMG-FUCKING-HARD! characters with the same sort of design aspect, and right now it looks more like "OMG I'm going to be liek totally EDGY by giving my character a little scar around the eye, because liek he's SO HARD!/SO ANGSTY!" than "this character is a former gladiator with a rival that tried to cut his eye out in a spat over the kettle one morning since there was no coffee left". I don't really WANT to change it, since I've referenced it in so many bits of writing, but I'm thinking I'm going to have to. *sad* Ohwell. Onward and upward, as they say.

Edit2: Becoming birthdayed on tuesday. 24. Erf. It's times like this I realise I've devoted a quarter of my life to my chosen profession so far, and have ONLY JUST QUALIFIED. I knew I should have stayed at Tesco. *beep* <--(sound of checkout)

Keaalu’s preferred method of eating: “I have no nibbles. The Co-op is shut. I am hungry. *le sigh* What’s left in the fridge? Pepper, chicken drumsticks, OMG CHEESE, funny little shrivelled things that probably used to be mushrooms, eggs. AHA! Frankenfood time. Pepper – halved. Egg – into pepper. Ex-mushroom – sliced and scattered atop eggy pepper. Cheese – sliced and scattered atop ex-mushroom-topped-eggy-pepper. Chicken drumsticks – sliced- nah, sprinkled with herbs and put next to cheese-topped-mushroomy-eggy-pepper. Put into oven. Nuke. Forget about. What’s-that-funny-burny-smell? OMG SUPPER. Rescue food from conflagration (well, almost). Eat.”
Keaalu considers self to have stainless steel stomach.
Keaalu will eat anything that’s gone past it’s sell-by date but still LOOKS vaguely presentable.
