(no subject)

I noticed a couple of days ago that it's been close to a month since my last post, on here. (Surprised me a little that it had been so long, actually.)

Part of it can be blamed on the creeping junk heap (read: my flat) I have been trying to tame. Every time I work on something, a little bit of it gets left out in the living space, and eventually it all takes over, so I've been trying to tidy it all away and trow out some of the endless piles of stuff I will never use in the process. So that's taking up a lot of my time.

The other half of the blame goes to... the fact I seem to have completely lost the ability to write even a semi-intelligent blog post. For the last two weeks I've been trying to write a "happy birthday Dauntless" kind of post, as it's the 10th birthday (10 years!) of my little series, and it reads more like a year five schoolchild's project report.

"I did this then I did this then this happened and blah."

For all the enjoyment I get from writing (and the years and years of practice I've had at it), I still can't write a good blog entry. *le melodramatic sigh* Maybe once I've come up with a sensible structure for the post that doesn't scatter concepts all over the place, I'll be happy enough with the entry to post it. (...If you don't see it appear in the next couple of weeks, you can probably assume I gave up on it.)

(All right, I confess, maaaybe earlier I was reading some excellent posts discussing asexuality, and I'm feeling envious of the posters' writing skills.)
