Another bank holiday...
Monday, 30 May 2005 09:30 pmI like me my days off. Woo! Had some time to do a little work on my site and shops and stuff, AND do my housework. I even got up (relatively) early. It rained, too (yay) - I like rain. :)
Now all I have to do is find my little NHS card and get registered with a local GP. It's ridiculous, I WORK at a HOSPITAL, and I'm having real problems finding a GPs surgery in walking distance that still have room on their books. On the up side, the GPs I'm getting registered at (once I find my little purple NHS card) has an art shop just around the corner. OMG ART SHOP. *delight* I think it's just about the only one in the whole of Ipswich. They don't sell Polychromos (have to tramp down to London for them) but it's a start!
I have an idea where my purple card is, soo... I'm going to go see if I can dig it out. The plotline of one of my later stories has changed, a little - I don't know. I need more bad Kiravai, I seem to keep on creating them then "whups!" they go nice on me. GRR. I think it's Ivy's fault - after I specified that the Kiravai have a deep respect for all "Kirasiinu" (their word for what she is) it's going all canon having Kiravai being nasty to them. ARGH. Hiirai was originally a Vei'la cyberneticist that Ral "recruits" to do a little reprogramming, but I've had to rework it; Hiirai is more of a "political prisoner" now. The Dominae are a different matter - I can keep Diheevi and co. as their lovely bolshie arrogant selves without too many problems. But... myeh.
Still going to kill Hiirai off, though. Too tempting not to. Plays into the story nicely, too, when you consider HOW he dies. ;) Rar, conflict. An angry Synth is not the sort of person you want to go arguing with.
Well, I mean, would YOU argue with THIS?
Got to go out to the recycling bins now, before it gets too dark to see where the hell they are. Yay.
Edit: This thing KEEPS on "forgetting" I've already typed in my password. GRR.
