...I forgot how hard it could be to write something from a character with an opposing viewpoint to your own, and still sound like they had some conviction in what they were saying. *buh* Since half of Iios' "harem" (read: Eri) is rebelling. :P (Edit: Before there's any misconceptions, it's Iios' part I'm having trouble writing, as in the "well, what's the problem with having two partners?" point of view. Eri's part is EASY to write. :P)

Hmm. Does he have to have conviction about it? Well, it does depend on the role you keep him in, but still...

Advantages of Bigamy.... Moral, or otherwise.....

Actually, it may not even need to be a matter of conviction. Considering his actual reasons for it, it may just be for the sake of greed or control. One of the benefits of a having a harem or such (besides the obvious) is a symbol of status, or just the feeling of dominance one might get from it. The 'Ha, I have two mates, everyone else has one" argument, so to speak.

Yeah, I think I was ultimately going to go down that route, but as I was experimenting with ideas I wondered if I could make something semi-coherent. :P I think the whole "Alexa + Iios" is more of a convenience thing than anything, anyway, as each has what the other wants.
